Danslördag på Skånes Dansteater: Honey Honey + WORKSHOP

Kan vi lära oss av bina?

I bisamhället är drottningen mamma till alla andra bin. Genom doftämnen styr hon livet i kupan, där arbetsbina tillverkar honung, städar och vaktar. De kommunicerar genom att dansa: Var finns det nektar och pollen? Åt vilket håll hittar jag vatten? Rörelserna berättar.

Alla arbetar tillsammans, för bisamhällets bästa. Och hur är det med oss? Vi människor?

Dansföreställningen Honey Honey kliver ner i insekternas mikrovärld. Med nykomponerad musik och inspiration från svärmar, drönare och bi-danser riktar den in sig på oss människor och det samhälle vi skapar. Hur behandlar och kommunicerar vi med varandra? Kan vi i naturens värld hitta en respekt för det lilla väsendet och dess betydelse för hela ekosystemet?

Prova att dansa koreografin i föreställningen. En 30-minuters dansworkshop för alla där du lära dig mer om metoderna som dansarna och koreografen använt i skapandet av föreställningen.

Can we learn from bees?

In a bee colony, the queen is the mother of all bees. Through pheromones, she governs life in the hive, where worker bees produce honey, clean and guard. They communicate by dancing: Where is the nectar and pollen? Which direction leads to water? Movements tell the story.
Everyone works together for the good of the hive. And what about us? We humans?

Dance performance Honey Honey dives into the micro-world of insects. With newly composed music and inspiration taken from swarms, drones and bee dances, attention is turned towards humans and the society we create. How do we treat and communicate with one another? Can we find, in the natural world, respect for the small creatures and their importance to the entire ecosystem?

Try the dance
Try dancing yourself using the choreography from the performance. A 30-minute workshop open to all, where you learn more about the methods used by the dancers and choreographer in creating the piece.
