Em Lang och Konrad Holmqvist redovisar sin examensproduktion. Föreställningen är en vidareutveckling av förstudien Branching Paths som redovisades hösten 2023.

Om Branching Paths:
Vad kan rollspel och dess olika former tillföra scenkonsten? Hur kan deltagarbaserad scenkonst utvecklas med hjälp av de verktyg som tv-spels-modellen “choose-your-own-adventure” erbjuder?

Utifrån den frågan har vi skapat en föreställning där publiken får vara med och bygga narrativet. Branching Paths är ett verk där beslut och gruppdynamik ställs i fokus, och vi frågar oss om en berättelse har en större chans att påverka oss när vi får påverka den.

Em Lang and Konrad Holmqvist present their graduation production. The performance is a continuation of the preliminary study “Branching Paths,” which was presented in the fall of 2023.

About “Branching Paths”: What can role-playing and its various forms contribute to the performing arts? How can participant-based performing arts evolve using the tools offered by the video game model “choose-your-own-adventure”?

Based on this question, we have created a performance where the audience participates in building the narrative. “Branching Paths” is a work that places decisions and group dynamics in focus, questioning whether a story has a greater chance of influencing us when we have the opportunity to influence it.
