hold me
A dance performance. What is it that makes us feel safe? How do we view the human need to be seen and our need to fill our own shoes? How do we build confidence in our environment?
In a trio made up of two dancers and one enormous sheet, we create a dream landscape where we explore how we see ourselves reflected in others and how this affects who we dare to be. We explore different kinds of closeness through simply, being, listening and responding. What is it that allows us to crawl in and out of our shell, peep out from under our safety blanket and dare to come closer.
hold me is a gentle invitation to really see one another. This performance aims to meet an audience stretching across generations and welcomes you to a memorable experience that stirs emotions and communicates the importance of feeling grateful for one another.
